A valid EFC licence is required.
A valid DFB fencing pass is a starting requirement for German fencers. Adolescents under the age of 18 need a health certificate (not older than 365 days).

Referees must be provided based on the total entries per day.

The referees activity is not paid by the organizer.

For the German clubs a deviating referee regulation applies:
3 starter no referee
4 - 7 starter 1 referee
8 and more starters 2 referees.

The referees officiating circuit should have DFB CN licence and an annual license, good national or international level qualification and be aged minimum 18 and less than 60.

First round + direct elimination

Criteria for initial ranking of fencers
1. FIE senior ranking (only those having points)
2. FIE U20 ranking 1-64
3. EFC U23 circuit ranking
4. DFB senior ranking

The competition is held on the basis of the rules and regulations of the FIE and the EFC.

Organizer assume no liability. All participants are responsible for the personal equipment.

The participants submit to the jurisdiction of the FIE, EFC and the relevant national federation.

Doping controls will be carried out.
The DFB / Organiser is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect performance of doping tests, unless the DFB / Organiser is proven to have acted with intent or gross negligence.

The participants and their legal representatives declare that they agree to a publication of their names, clubs and year of birth as the as the competition data.. The fencer / legal representative declares his consent to the production, distribution and display of images, sound and film during the competitions. This consent is free of charge, has unlimited territorial and temporal validity and applies to the right to the image as well as the general right of personality. It includes all media, but in particular the right to reproduce recordings in print, TV shows and the Internet. There is the possibility, but no obligation, to give the name.

A doctor is present in the competition site.
Only doctors are entitled according to the international statutes to grant medical breaks during the fights.

All participants are required to check prior to the event to see if any more extensive EFC or state regulations have not been implemented.

Equipment according to definition FIE and EFC.
Furthermore, German safety standards apply.

Attention: Pre-registration might be necessary at the national federation with different deadline!
By participating in the competition, the athlete agrees that his name, year of birth, club and results as well as any photographs taken during the event may be published in the media and on the internet. The declaration of consent may be revoked in writing until the start of the competition.
The parking lot directly in front of the restaurant may not be used (vehicles might be towed).
On Friday, Dec. 7th, 2018 there is also a possibility for weapon control from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
