Referee qualification:

At least a national referee license is required

Referees must be provided based on the total entries per day.

The required number of qualified referees must be entered into the inscription system before athletes can be added to the competition.

The referees activity is not paid by the organizer.

Rules for judges also apply to foreigners per nation:
4 fencers per nation 1 referee
8 fencers per nation 2 referees

The judges must have at least a national license and an annual licence and be available for the entire duration of the event.

We expect an adequate appearance:
    - trouser suit or skirt
    - suit and tie

If foreign fencers are announced by German clubs for DFB tournaments and they are also in possession of a German licence, they fall under the participation rate for the German club and are therefore considered for the calculation of compulsory judges to be sent!

Individual: One round of pools followed by a direct elemination

Team: Direct elemination with all places fenced. Seeding is done according to the individual results on saturday.

It includes all media, but in particular the right to reproduce recordings in print, TV shows and the Internet. There is the possibility, but no obligation, to give the name.

The name imprint (on fencing jackets or e-vests) is mandatory at all Q-tournaments of the DFB in the U20 and seniors (according to Sports Committee, 04.07.09). It must be ensured that the name imprint also corresponds to the name according to the inscription and fencing pass.

As the men's and women's competition both take place on the same day, we kindly as you to make sure to organize referees as early as possible. If you have trouble doing so, please contact as us soon as you can, so we can support you in finding referees for a reduced fee.

For the team competition, one referee is required for one or two teams per club or nation, two for three or four teams per club or nation and so forth.
