Liability

By registering for the fencing tournament, the participants or their legal representatives hereby declare their waiver of liability for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur in connection with participation in sporting activities.

1. Risks of Sports

The participant in this fencing competition is aware that sporting activities are associated with inherent risks. These risks may include injuries, damages, or loss of property. By registering for the tournament, participants or their legal representatives confirm that they have understood the risks and are voluntarily willing to accept them.

2. Condition of the Participant

By registering, the participants or their legal representatives declare that they are in good physical condition and have no health concerns that may limit their participation in sporting activities. If there are existing health issues, the undersigned has informed the organizer before the activities begin.

3. Protective Clothing and Equipment

By registering, the participants or their legal representatives agree to adhere to the protective clothing and equipment guidelines set by the organizer. The participant or their legal representatives confirm with the registration that they are responsible for providing their own appropriate protective clothing and equipment.

4. Limitation of Liability

By registering, the participants or their legal representatives state that neither the organizers nor the operators of the sports facility can be held liable for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur in connection with participation in sporting activities. This also applies to negligence on the part of the organizers or operators.

5. Personal Responsibility

The participant assumes full responsibility for their own well-being during sporting activities. By registering, the participants or their legal representatives state that they are aware that they must bear the consequences of their actions and that they are responsible for their own decisions and actions during the activities.

6. Validity of the Declaration

This waiver of liability remains valid for a limited time and is only effective for this fencing tournament.

By registering for the fencing tournament, I confirm my waiver of liability for sporting activities. I have read, understood, and agree to the waiver of liability through my registration for the fencing tournament via the Ophardt online system.

Jurisdiction

The participants submit to the jurisdiction of the Landesfechtverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V.

Image / TV rights

The participants and their legal representatives declare that they agree to a publication of their names, clubs and year of birth as the as the competition data.. The fencer / legal representative declares his consent to the production, distribution and display of images, sound and film during the competitions. This consent is free of charge, has unlimited territorial and temporal validity and applies to the right to the image as well as the general right of personality. It includes all media, but in particular the right to reproduce recordings in print, TV shows and the Internet. There is the possibility, but no obligation, to give the name.

Remarks

All persons involved in the competition (fencer, supervisor,
Officials, on-site organizers including temporary staff in the cafeteria, etc., medical Personnel, technicians,) must be in the Ophardt reporting system up to the corresponding Registration deadline and registered for the competition.
A supervisor can be accredited for 1-3 fencers per club / nation
- 2 supervisors can be accredited for 4-6 fencers per club / nation
- 3 supervisors can be accredited for 7-10 fencers per club / nation
- for more than 10 fencers per club / nation 4 supervisors can apply
accredit.
Any accompaniment such as trainer, physiotherapist, team doctor, own technician, etc. is considered to be a supervisor. At this point it is pointed out that according to the current FIE regulations, supervision of fencers by judges and officials is not permitted. All accompanying persons participating in a competition who are not accredited according to the above-mentioned key are considered spectators and can only be in the area that is accessible to spectators. It is not possible to enter areas for which accreditation is required. If the number of spectators is limited, people accompanying underage participants will be given priority at the entrance.
Every profile in the Ophardt system, including profiles that have already been created and used, must contain the following data so that an accreditation can be issued:
- full name and date of birth
- current adress
- Telephone number and email address
- Function (athlete, official, supervisor, etc.)
- Current passport photo to be used for accreditation
