A valid DFB fencing pass is a starting requirement for German fencers. German fencers under the age of 18 need a health certificate (not older than 365 days).

Referee qualification:

At least a national referee license is required

Referees must be provided based on the total entries per day.

The required number of qualified referees must be entered into the inscription system before athletes can be added to the competition.

The referees activity is not paid by the organizer.

Rules for judges also apply to foreigners per nation:
4 fencers per nation 1 referee
8 fencers per nation 2 referees

The judges must have at least a national license and an annual licence and be available for the entire duration of the event.

We expect an adequate appearance:
    - trouser suit or skirt
    - suit and tie

If foreign fencers are announced by German clubs for DFB tournaments and they are also in possession of a German licence, they fall under the participation rate for the German club and are therefore considered for the calculation of compulsory judges to be sent!

The event takes place according to FIE and DFB regulations.

The FIE regulations and the competition regulations of the Hessischer Fechterverband e.V. apply.

The organizer and host accept no liability for accidents, injuries, or damages of any kind, including damage to personal equipment or property. Participation, presence at the venue, and use of the infrastructure are at one’s own risk. By participating, all individuals acknowledge this disclaimer of liability.

The participants submit to the jurisdiction of the German Fencing Federation e.V.

All participants, as well as everyone present at the tournament venue, are subject to the jurisdiction of the Hessian Fencing Federation e.V.

Doping controls may be carried out.
The participants submit to the jurisdiction of the NADA.
The DFB / Organizer is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect performance of doping tests, unless the DFB / Organizer is proven to have acted with intent or gross negligence.

The participants and their legal representatives declare that they agree to a publication of their names, clubs and year of birth as the as the competition/event data. The fencer / legal representative declares his consent to the production, distribution and display of images, sound and film during the competitions/events. This consent is free of charge, has unlimited territorial and temporal validity and applies to the right to the image as well as the general right of personality. It includes all media, but in particular the right to reproduce recordings in print, TV shows and the Internet. There is the possibility, but no obligation, to give the name.

By registering, participants or their legal representatives agree to the publication of their name, club, year of birth, and competition. They consent to the free production, distribution, and publication of image, audio, and video recordings during the competitions. This consent is unlimited in time and space and applies to all media (print, TV, internet). It includes both the right to one’s image and general personal rights. Naming the participant is optional but not mandatory.

A doctor is present in the competition site.
Only doctors are entitled according to the international statutes to grant medical breaks during the fights.

The name imprint (on fencing jackets or e-vests) is mandatory at all Q-tournaments of the DFB in the U20 and seniors (according to Sports Committee, 04.07.09). It must be ensured that the name imprint also corresponds to the name according to the inscription and fencing pass.

According to DFB regulations, the equipment must comply with the DFB guidelines for the respective age category.
