2022 International Tournament

A valid DFB fencing pass is a starting requirement for German fencers. German fencers under the age of 18 need a health certificate (not older than 365 days).

It is not permitted to participate on multiple competitions per competition day.

Only one entry per athlete for each category is allowed.

Referee qualification:

At least a national referee license is required

Referees must be provided based on the total entries per day.

The required number of qualified referees must be entered into the inscription system before athletes can be added to the competition.

The referees activity is not paid by the organizer.

Rules for judges also apply to foreigners per nation:
4 fencers per nation 1 referee
8 fencers per nation 2 referees

The judges must have at least a national license and an annual licence and be available for the entire duration of the event.

We expect an adequate appearance:
    - trouser suit or skirt
    - suit and tie

If foreign fencers are announced by German clubs for DFB tournaments and they are also in possession of a German licence, they fall under the participation rate for the German club and are therefore considered for the calculation of compulsory judges to be sent!

The event takes place according to FIE and DFB regulations.

Organizer assume no liability. All participants are for responsible for the personal equipment.

The participants submit to the jurisdiction of the German Fencing Federation e.V.

Doping controls may be carried out.
The participants submit to the jurisdiction of the NADA.
The DFB / Organizer is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect performance of doping tests, unless the DFB / Organizer is proven to have acted with intent or gross negligence.

The participants and their legal representatives declare that they agree to a publication of their names, clubs and year of birth as the as the competition/event data. The fencer / legal representative declares his consent to the production, distribution and display of images, sound and film during the competitions/events. This consent is free of charge, has unlimited territorial and temporal validity and applies to the right to the image as well as the general right of personality. It includes all media, but in particular the right to reproduce recordings in print, TV shows and the Internet. There is the possibility, but no obligation, to give the name.

A doctor is present in the competition site.
Only doctors are entitled according to the international statutes to grant medical breaks during the fights.

The name imprint (on fencing jackets or e-vests) is mandatory at all Q-tournaments of the DFB in the U20 and seniors (according to Sports Committee, 04.07.09). It must be ensured that the name imprint also corresponds to the name according to the inscription and fencing pass.

Prepaid payments have to be made per club!
The money must be received by September 21nd of 2022 at the latest. Monies that have been paid will only be reimbursed upon request if a timely cancellation was made in the online system. There will be no reimbursement for subsequent cancellations.

Material control / registration is generally only possible on the day of the competition, no exception is offered here! If it should be possible to do it in the afternoon one day before, we will inform you by 21.09.22 at the latest.

Entering the gymnasium is only permitted with sneakers or flat shoes!

The regulations valid at the time of the competition as part of the corona pandemic of the federal government, the Free State of Thuringia, the city of Jena and superordinate sports associations must be observed. If necessary, an additional, up-to-date hygiene concept from FSC Jena eV must also be implemented. For this reason, it is possible that the schedule for material control and competition will have to be adjusted at short notice and a cafeteria will not be able to take place. We will inform you about changes promptly.
